About the Author

Carole was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, the eldest of seven children. She is a mother of two sons, one daughter, and is a grandmother (at this publishing), giving her great joy and love. A spiritual woman, Carole has actively worked primarily in church women’s groups and as a choir director. She also spent ten months on a mission for the Lord in the state penitentiary. Carole attributes the Lord for introducing Himself to her in that unusual place, forever changing her life and faith, and giving her purpose in Him.

For most of her career, Carole worked as an executive assistant in the healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and hospitality industries, creatively streamlining processes, and trimming costs while expanding output and quality. It is said that she left things profoundly better than she found them, finding solutions to save the companies for which she worked thousands of dollars annually by identifying and eliminating waste.

Being a single mother for most of her adult life, being widowed, and learning to adapt after two strokes, Carole has experienced life’s challenges and heartaches. Throughout it all, she always tried to see things positively, crediting God for the many good things in her life.

Carole lived in England; Germany; St. George, Utah; and San Jose, California; and currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah, close to most of her family and loved ones.
